TAAH - The African Art Hub's vision is to establish a Pan-African hub for talented and untapped African artists from the continent and the diaspora to present their work to the world. We are reinventing the relationship between African artists and collectors (corporate and private), galleries, museums, private curators, and art aficionados.

The value attached to African art in comparison to that from other parts of the world is minimal. There is hope as this is changing, yet much remains to be done. We aim to be at the forefront of that anticipated transition.

We are committed to representing our artists and their work fairly and passionately. We work daily to break the barriers African artists face in the industry and bring them closer to clients around the world.

SELECTED ARTISTS WILL RECEIVE

A three year contract, during which TAAH aims to provide you with:

• Promotion & Marketing
• Applications for international grants, awards, and residencies
• Representaton & Sales
• Inventory & Accounts Management
• Image Management on social media, in press and other possible platforms
• Legal Assistance via our sister company Clarence Abogados & Associados (www.clarenceabogados.com)

So that the artist can focus on what is most import: Creation.

REQUIREMENTS

The call for artist applications is applicable for Contemporary Visual artists from the continent of Africa and the diaspora only.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Applicants are expected to submit:

• The completed application form (downloadable .PDF or digital form; options below)
• An updated CV detailing recent projects, exhibitions, workshops, and residencies (in either a .DOCX or .PDF format)
• Artist's passport sized photo
• Up to 10 images of previous works not exceeding 5MB per image or up to 25MB per video file. Each work must have a short
       concept note or explanatory text accompanying it. (.PDF format)
• Make sure to add details of the art works shared including title, size, medium, market/selling price.
• Links to digital portfolio or works represented by other art selling websites (if any)
• Links to publications about your works (if any)
